IPTV picture quality depends mostly on your internet connection. The good news: you don't need a very fast connection, but you do need a stable one.
Recommended speeds
As a general guide for one screen:
- SD quality: about 5 Mbps
- HD and Full HD: about 10 to 15 Mbps
- 4K, where available: about 25 Mbps or more
If other people in your home are streaming, gaming or downloading at the same time, you need more. You can check your speed with any free speed test on the device you watch on.
Tips to avoid buffering
- Use a cable if you can. An Ethernet cable from the router to your TV or box is the most stable option.
- Use 5 GHz Wi-Fi. If your router offers a 5 GHz network, it is usually faster and less crowded.
- Move the router closer, or add a Wi-Fi extender or mesh system for distant rooms.
- Restart your router and device from time to time.
- Pause big downloads while you watch.
- Keep your app and device updated.
Test it on your connection
Every connection is different, which is why we offer a free 24-hour trial. Ask for your trial on WhatsApp and check the picture at home before choosing a plan. If you still see buffering, message us and we help you find the cause.
